Periodic Table Love Poem

My recent PhD research focused on constrained writing, after the style of the OuLiPo.  One of the constraints I developed was writing with chemical element symbols.  My first element poem, LiVING dIVISiON was published in Verbivoracious Press’s Oulipo Festschrift alongside a commentary on my development of this constraint.  The poem above was written for an anthology on Love edited last year by the writing society at my university.  2019 is the Year of the Periodic Table and its 150th anniversary, so it feels appropriate to publish this online on Valentines Day.
